No News
So does that mean "No news is good news"????!!!!! I suppose so!
Jesse cleaned the house like a speed demon, today! He accomplished so much! He was going to clean the carpets (I purchased a Bissell carpet cleaner years ago) and I had to take time to show him how to operate the machine. It didn't work the last time I tried to use it - something was clogged. Anyway, due to lack of use, it has unclogged itself. BUT, we had someone drop by the house and the carpets didn't get done. Instead, he sprinkled Glade carpet freshener (Peach scent - I think) and vacuumed that back up. It may not *technically* be clean in here, but it smells good!
He took the girls to their appointment this afternoon and I finished up a few things, then rested on my bed. My back was bothering me quite a bit today, so I guess I did too much . . . AGAIN.
We had leftovers for dinner tonight - an easy solution for dinner and it cleaned out the refrigerator at the same time! Two for the price of one, so to speak!
The girls had a short school session today (they had NO school yesterday) and I gave some extra homework assignments for the weekend. Their new Chore Pack cards are working VERY well and tomorrow will be their big chore day. They have household duties, but ALSO their rooms need to be dusted and vacuumed. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchased Chore Packs and would recommend them to anyone trying to teach their children how to do chores and how often those chores need to be done.
I'm going to head to bed and read a little bit in my book. I'm reading it slowly because this truly is the last book in the series and I hate to part with the characters!
I pray y'all have a nice weekend with your families!
Be Blessed ~

I felt that same way about Jan Karon's books. Have you read any of them? I just loved them all! The characters became such good friends! Your sweet hubby! Mine also vacuumed for me yesterday, because I had the young folks here for Bible study last night. Of course, after they had cake, cookies, chips and other stuff, it needs vacuuming again!
You're in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord bless you and your family!
I pray for you. Hope you're doin ok.
I read that series years ago and LOVED it! I may have to reread them since it's been so long. There's a series called The Mark Of The Lion by Francine Rivers. Have you read them? I just got done reading them and LOVED it. There are three books in the series, and the Yukon library has all of the books. I think you would like them too
It's about Christianity in Rome, while the Apostle John was still alive.

I haven't heard of the author, but I'll look into it!
