  • It's Friday.  I'm no closer to owning a new stove (we've only "looked" online) and none of my other appliances (that are hobbling along in wheelchairs) have been replaced.  But . . .

    WE'RE **LOOKING**  . . . . !!!!   

    I've never been a window shopper.

    I have a need.  I see.  I compare (prices etc.).  I buy.

    Lowe's told us they don't carry many gas ranges in the store (they had, maybe, three when we were in there).  They told me gas ranges had to be ordered.  

    If a warehouse in the area had one, I could have my stove in a week.  

    If they had to order it, it could be 5-6 weeks. 

    But . . . "WE'RE LOOKING"

  • Is the stove on the fritz or are you just due for a new one? Either way...I hope you find what you're looking for without it being too much of an ordeal!

  • Oh! I do hope the right one goes on sale soon. I don't know how well I would do without my stove and oven. We do have a microwave, but I do a lot of baking for church functions. We are a coffee and cake kinda church! LOL! I hope you can find just the right stove at a GREAT price. We are still looking for a dryer we can afford. There are not many available. Denmark is very energy conscious, and most people hang their laundry out to dry. That is fine in the good weather, but we are approaching the damp, dark rainy season, and everything you hang takes three or four days to dry then, unless you drape it all over the apartment on every available heater. Anyway, it's hard to find dryers here, and we need a special kind that doesn't need an exit hose. This kind has a tank which you have to empty. Since we live in an apartment, we can't do the hose kind. We know God will provide if this is something He feels is a need. He's good like that!
