Not Much to Tell
We are having lots (and I mean LOTS) of rain and thunderstorms this morning.
The storms started in the middle of the night and really haven't stopped, except for brief spurts of dry sky. We lost power for a short while and woke up to all of the clocks blinking at us.
Even though Jesse can't work, I'm happy for the rain, as we definitely need it. It will prolong the lawn care season, because grass and bushes will continue to grow until it's too cold.
HOWEVER . . . Sushi has refused to go outside to do her business!
Oh, oh! I even walked out into the grass but she refused, staying on the cement patio and watching me from a distance, like I had lost my mind!!! We've been watching her very carefully!
I've bathed and gotten dressed and am ready to go to the surgeon. It's only noon and the appointment isn't until 2:30pm. That's where I should get the results of my CT scan and thoracic MRI. The thoracic MRI report was the one that was the most accurate back in April (maybe March??). Despite the good report from the breast MRI, I'm waiting for these next two. I don't feel very patient, right now!
I've learned patience; but, apparently, not in every situation!
That's it from here. Annamarie seems to be feeling a little better today. She ate a normal breakfast. I haven't asked how her throat feels. Sometimes she isn't very accurate and I prefer to watch her eating habits to observe how *I* think her throat is doing. Does that make sense?
I'll write more after I know more. (Oh please, God, let them have the results from my other two tests!!!)
Be Blessed ~

I am anxious for you, too!!!! Are you back yet? Huh? Huh? I've got a nasty throat thing going on, too. UGH. Blessings to you!
Waiting patiently with you!
We've had a few really really heavy downpours the past few days and hot, hot, hot muggy. Speaking of weather...did you hear about the tornado here in Canada up near Deer Falls (Fisherman's Cove--specifically) in which 3 Okalahoma men were tragically killed? It happened about a month ago and I've been meaning to ask you. It was ironic since your part of the world is known for it's tornadoes and ours is not. Another weird thing is my son, who is a police officer, was one of the first responders as he happened to be travelling and was just 3km away when it touched down. Just wondering if you'd heard about it?
Oh please God, let Cherylyn have the results of those other two test. With continued prayers~Dawne
Catching up here....I hope you have really good news, really soon.
So.... how did the appointment go?
Ok, I know that things can get in the way of coming back and posting right away...like life....and I am guessing if it was bad news you might have posted right away.....and then again it is possible you don't have the results yet either.....
Praying for a praise report later!!!!!
@DawneElla -
I heard nothing of the Canadian tornado or the loss of 3 Oklahoma men. Must have been a busy news week for them not to talk about it! I watch very little TV, but DO watch the news.
@cherylyn_p - actually it was Ear Falls...don't know why I wrote Deer? It is a long way from where I am (23hrs. away) but where my son is placed for his posting. I heard about it first from him and I couldn't help but think of you when he told me the poor fellows were from Oklahoma.
I do hope you got the reports you were waiting on and all is good news. Take care~Dawne
