  • GASP!

(sucking in a big breath, quickly!)

We all slept too late to attend church today.  So, we are playing hooky, I guess!

Jesse suggested we call his Mexican friend, Camilo, and see if he and his family want to meet us later for a late lunch at a Mexican restaurant.

Other than that . . . the day is up in the air.

    I know . . . shortest post I’ve ever written.  Even *I* am amazed!!!!

    Be blessed  ~

  • LOLOL…shortest post you’ve ever written.  Mexican sounds yummy.  I have only had Taco Bell lately.  I see you had a wonderful Christmas, as did I.  Have a blessed day.

  • Sounds like you needed a “day off.” Enjoy the time with your friends and family!

  • I, too, am amazed at this short post!!!  Hope you have a blessed day with your family.

    Love,

  • I hope you are having a nice restful day. Here it’s after 10 PM, and bed is sounding good. We spent the evening with some friends from Skri Lanka eating very spicy food. WHEW! It was good, though. It was a very interesting evening. There was one couple there from Romania, another couple where the wife is Laotian, and the husband is Danish, our hosts from Skri Lanka, and two Americans. There were several different languages floating around the room! LOL! We had a lovely time. These people have only been Christians for a short while, but they are so happy to know God. They threw out all their Hindu pictures and idols after that got saved. This Fall they were water baptized. God is doing wonderful things in their lives.

  • We woke up to a flooded basement (we’ve had a quick thaw) and then our power went out! So no church for us either. We had to get the generator going and pump out the basement–quite the rigamaroll. The good news is with no power all agreed that Chinese food was a good idea for an early supper–finally I got to indulge my hankering for Chinese food! Hope you enjoyed your Mexican lunch! Power’s back on now so all is well. Blessings~Dawne
