  • Edit to Earlier Post

You know, I just re-read the beginning of what I posted this morning and came across this sentence:

There is a huge (I mean HUGE) cross with the 12 stations Jesus walked on the south side of I-40 just outside of Amarillo.”

I think what I meant to say was:

On the south side of I-40, just outside of Amarillo, there is a huge (I mean HUGE) cross with the 12 stations Jesus walked.

Not that Jesus hasn’t walked on the south side of I-40 just outside of Amarillo (or couldn’t walk there or anywhere else He wanted to walk), but that’s wasn’t exactly what I was trying to convey1

All home schooling parents are free to use my, above, faux pas as an example of misplaced clauses – or whatever that’s called.  It’s been a long time since I had to teach 8th grade grammar and punctuation!

Laughing at myself today!  REALLY LOL

If you only knew how “dumb” I’ve been this whole day.

    I told one friend, I think I might need some R & R!!!!!

  • LOL! What’s sad is I didn’t even catch it!!! Whew.. maybe we both need some R&R!

  • That’s funny! But, I knew what you meant.

  • LOL! R&R the weekend before school starts…yeah, that would be a good plan. I saw an e-mail with photos of those statues. Very cool. I’ll see if I can find it and send it to you.

  • Yeah , see I did not catch it, even after you pointed it out! I still had to re-read it a couple of times. Thanks for the chuckle this morning, I really  needed it. It has already been one mess of a day. Have a relaxing weekend. Lisa~~
