  • Company Is Here

Our company arrived around 5pm yesterday.  They almost got bumped off of the plane in Salt Lake City, UT – where we know NO ONE!  After my sister-in-law explained she had had hernia surgery two weeks ago and was traveling with a child, Delta Airlines took pity on her and must have bumped off someone else!  They had a grueling 3 hour wait in Salt Lake City – I can only imagine!  JoAnn said they stopped at an airport restaurant called “Something Burrito” and figured, “No one can mess up a burrito!”  Two burritos, one drink, and $17.00 later she found out that it was INDEED possible to mess up a burrito!

We stopped to get her a burger on our way home.  Aolani’s father was there at the airport to meet her and took her for the rest of the evening.  So my girls were disappointed they didn’t get to see her until it was almost bedtime.  JoAnn, Jesse, and I had a nice visit.  Jesse went to bed early (we’ve had lots o rain, so he has “catch-up” mowing to do) and JoAnn and I stayed up until 11-something watch the Olympics.  That is WAAAAY past my bedtime and I slept like a log.

JoAnn is still sleeping and I’m doing my best to keep the four little girls as quiet as possible.  Finally starvation overtook them and I heard clattering in the kitchen.  Here’s what I found.

Four girls huddled around the stove making breakfast plans.

Oops!  Busted!  And, as usual, Rissy is the ring leader of the cooking!
    Annamarie, Aolani, Rissy, & Luci.

Rissy’s making sausage and everyone is eagerly waiting for the next item . . .  scrambled eggs!

JoAnn just woke up and I hear LOTS of giggling coming from the kitchen – but no “oh-oh’s”; so, I guess things are under control out there!

    Bye, y’all.
