2nd Tuesday Post
I know I said no pictures today. But . . .
I ended up doing the sweeping for Annamarie in the bathroom AND the kitchen areas. She just wasn’t getting up the dirt and it HAS to be done today – due to company. Luci had to be watched like a hawk when she cleaned her room so things didn’t end up under her bed or under her bean bag chairs. They did anyway, when I wasn’t looking.
I’m really supposed to not be doing much of anything in the way of “arm work” but I scrubbed the gunk behind our toilet (Annamarie left that uncleaned and dusty/cruddy) and I took a broom to the kitchen, kitchen table room, and utility room floors getting more than a dustpan full of stuff. I don’t know how you miss a napkin, plastic ring from a milk jug, pencil or crayon when you’re sweeping WITH YOUR GLASSES ON . . . but, Annamarie did; not to mention the dried grass, dried pasta, and dust bunnies under the cabinets. Once it was in a pile, I told her to use the dustpan and then get on her hands and knees to get the few dirty spots with 409 and a paper towel. No, I wasn’t a happy camper, nor was I in a good mood about having to do her work. It took her 2 days of working on the floors and I did them in 2 minutes. Not very conducive to being relaxed.
I recognized my stressfulness and laid down on my bed to cool off, relax, and regroup my attitude. I noticed Stormy lying on my bed in complete relaxation. She was so relaxed that I came out to my desk to get my camera and found Chirper also lounging on the formal sofa without a care in the world.
I made a decision . . . .
I want to be a cat!
Not just *any* cat, but (specifically) one who lives in my home!
Chirper – so relaxed he barely lifted his head!
Stormy – waiting for me to leave so she could put her head back down on the scrunched up quilt.
Pretty tempting life, isn’t it?I want to be a cat (in my house) but I’m stuck being a human being for now!!!

My husband always looks at our cat, Maxx, and the way he lays around on his back….and says, “you have such a tough life”. LOLOL
I sure could use a few days of being a cat!!!!
I wish I could be a cat, too! They sure have the life! RYC: I live in NW OKC! You will have to tell me the name of the restaurant in Marlow, there is a guy in our church who is Italian and grew up on Long Island! I’m sure he would love to visit that restaurant sometime!! How far are you from OKC?
