  • Gotta Get Movin'

    Slackers that we are . . .

Here I sit this morning in my bathrobe at almost 11am!  Jesse is in the den teaching the girls to bowl (the new Wii system) and James is still snoring in the guest room.  Jesse-boy (the old cat) is in my bed, making it impossible for me to make the bed.  At least that's my excuse!

What does today hold for us????

James and Jesse will go see their mother, who is still in a rehab place recovering from her fall.  Jesse talked with her last night and she says she's coming home at the end of the week.  That's all Medicare would pay for and she HAS to leave.  I don't know if she's ready or not.

We HAVE to go to the bank today and sign our papers (renewal of a home equity loan).

There's laundry to do.  (What?  ME do laundry?)

Last night, I went to bed at a more reasonable hour (close to 11pm) and Jesse didn't make it to bed until after midnight.  He was bothered by a migraine headache yesterday and I had to give him a shot.  He slept for a couple of hours and that threw off his sleep schedule.  I, on the other hand, slept ten hours and feel G-R-E-A-T!!!

I have to think about taking meat out of the freezer for tonight's dinner, showering, making the bed, and starting the ever present laundry.  Stephanie came yesterday evening and did her laundry, which prevented me from doing my 7th day of whatever needs to be washed.

This week, I REALLY want to start the girls on their social studies, science, and health textbooks.  I think we'll only do refresher math and reading things, these next few months, and concentrate more on the the 3 subjects I mentioned starting.  Now, just to get started . . .

I feel really good, so will post more another time.  I want to take advantage of my new-found energy!

  • Make the most of those energy bursts!

  • "There's laundry to do.  (What?  ME do laundry?)" I liked that...it is how I feel and yet I am on my 4th load! (Too bad I have not put any way yet!)

  • Sounds like my morning - except that I never did get to the laundry - but there is always tomorrow! ( : Actually , around here Monday's are a relaxing day - and I often end up with my sisters and mom. Plus it was a rainy one - all day.
Thanks so much for all your support! I feel your prayers. Blessings - Mj

  • Good for you!  That's exactly what I did after I felt better with the meds.  I hope y'all have a good time with James today also.
